Tilda Swinton Stuns In Haider Ackermann Once More
Renowned actress Tilda Swinton and French fashion designer Haider Ackermann have been close friends for two decades and in that time Swinton has regularly sported his designs on the red carpet. After creating a buzz online with his backless look for Timothée Chalamet earlier in the week, Ackermann had another moment at the 79th Venice Film Festival.
For the red carpet premiere for The Eternal Daughter on the 6th of September in Venice, Tilda Swinton, often referred to as Ackermann’s muse, wore a long-sleeved sequined gown in a delicate lilac hue which paired perfectly with her dyed yellow hair.
Swinton has been known in recent years for her clear adoration of an oversized shirt (Who can blame her!), and the photocall event earlier in the day was no exception. She paired a blue and white pinstripe Loewe shirt and red joggers from the brand's women’s resort 2022 collection, a look that would look overly relaxed on others came across as put together yet unfussy.
This is not, however, the first time Swinton has worn Ackermann in recent years. For the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, she stunned in a pure, bright blue pantsuit with a slightly asymmetrical blazer. It was hailed as one of the best looks of that year’s festival.
Back for the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, she wore a structured light green matching skirt suit by the designer. A minimalistic yet refined look.
