Yesterday evening the fashion industry’s finest grouped together in New York City to celebrate the industry’s most influential designers at the annual Council of Fashion Designers of America awards and, of course, there is an elegant red carpet with designers showing off their work on beloved celebrities and models. The glamorous affair, which was presented in partnership with Amazon Fashion, commemorated the 60th anniversary of the CFDA, first launched by publicist Eleanor Lambert (the woman behind The Met Gala.)

Before we get onto looking at the best-dressed ensembles from the red carpet, let’s congratulate Catherine Holstein of Khaite for winning womenswear designer of the year and Emily Adams Bouje Aujla of Bode for winning menswear designer of the year! Other notable honorees of the evening included stylist Law Roach and a very special posthumous award given to Virgil Abloh who passed away last year.
