Ballet Flats: The Most Versatile Shoe This Summer

Some may consider them old-fashioned and perhaps too girly, but the ever-classic ballet flat is having a much welcome comeback this season. One of the go-to shoes of the noughties and early tens’, the ballet flat has long been associated with twee-queen Alexa Chung and more recently Lily-Rose Depp.

Comfortable and the perfect antidote to painful heels on a night out, ballet flats can work with almost any outfit. From summer dresses to tailored trousers, a ballet flat can both elevate a look and tone it down, all while keeping your feet agreeable!

People that tend to dislike ballet flats do so because they find they lack support and break down relatively quickly, and this can be the case but mostly when you don’t invest in good quality shoes. The truth is that if there is one thing you should put your money and time into when it comes to clothes, it’s shoes! The health of our feet is paramount to the health of our back and posture so we should always make sure we’re taking good care of them.

The beauty of these shoes is that they are adaptable, so here is a collection of ballet flats that could just work for you this Summer (and into Autumn) season!
