5 Iconic Wedding Dresses Of This Century…So far!

Wedding season is quickly approaching, with most couples choosing to host their loved up events from late Spring through to early Autumn. Of course, this means that for the next few months we’ll be seeing weddings pop up everywhere, both celebrities and perhaps those we know personally. With news coming out in the last few days that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker tried to tie the knot in Las Vegas last week - whether they’re actually legally married is yet to be confirmed - let’s take a look at some of the most iconic wedding dresses of the 21st century to date! And who knows, maybe Kourtney will one day join this list.

Kate Middleton

When the now Duchess of Cambridge married her Prince back in 2011, the world waited with bated breath to see what sort of gown the new Princess would choose for her big day. The Alexander McQueen gown designed by Sarah Burton featured a 9-foot long satin train, delicate lace and a Cartier tiara.

Kim Kardashian

The moment when Kim Kardashian tied the knot with Kanye West in Italy meant that, as with anything Kardashian related, fashion was important. Designed by her personal friend Riccardo Tisci, Kim wore a Givenchy haute couture gown featuring sheer lace panelling.

Priyanka Chopra

To wed Nick Jonas, Chopra chose to wear custom Ralph Lauren which featured, most famously, a 75-foot long veil! While this is the most known of Chopra’s wedding looks, she wore gowns by Dior, Sabyasachi and others for their other ceremonies.

Angelina Jolie

For her marriage to Brad Pitt in 2014, the actress wore Atelier Versace. Designed by Donatella herself, the gown featured bespoke drawings from the couple’s children.

Solange Knowles

Ever stylish, Solange wore capes for both of her main wedding looks. Pictured here in a gown by Humberto Leon for Kenzo for her nuptials to Alan Ferguson in New Orleans in 2014.

Molly Elizabeth Agnew

Founder of Eternal Goddess.
