Jlo Wore Three, Yes Three, Ralph Lauren Wedding Gowns
You’d be forgiven for thinking Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had already tied the knot because, technically, they have already had a Las Vegas wedding. However, when you’re celebrities that have had a long publicised relationship spanning 20 years, why not have a second wedding?
JLo and Affleck finally tied the knot, finally, in Georgia on August 20th in front of friends and family. And if you thought two weddings were extravagant enough, then may I offer three custom wedding dresses?
JLo has long had a relationship with Ralph Lauren, so wearing the designer for her very special day is not overly surprising. Her first gown, worn for the main ceremony, is perhaps the most extravagant of the looks. The dress, made using over 1,000 handkerchiefs and 500 metres of fabric, features an elegant turtleneck design with a delicately exposed back. The cascading ruffles, featured as a sort of mermaid skirt, elongate the wearer’s silhouette.

Of course, drama was added in the form of a cathedral-length veil.
Affleck complimented his bride by wearing a white Ralph Lauren tuxedo jacket, black trousers and a classic black bow tie. It is also reported that all guests wore white.
After the highly romantic ceremony, officiated by life coach Jay Shetty, the bride went on to wear two other full-length gowns, also designed by Ralph Lauren. One of these dresses, worked on by thirty artisans, featured hundreds of strings of pearls with micro pleats of silk tulle and Swarovski embellishments.
Her final dress would also involve Swarovski additions surrounding a key-holed neckline. It also featured a light tulle hood.
